Amy Righi

Music + Liturgy Director

Amy was born in Detroit, MI where she attended St. David’s Elementary School, Region 7 Middle (Magnet) School and Dominican HS.  The family moved to St. Blasé, Sterling Heights prior to Studies at Oakland University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Music Education and a Master of Arts in English and Literature.  Amy’s husband, Anthony is an accomplished guitarist and music minister, along with their sons; violinists Christopher, Vincent and Nicholas. Not long after the Righi family moved from Sterling Heights to Macomb 17 in 1998, Amy left her part time position at St. Blasé to accept the position of Music and Liturgy Director at St. Isidore.  Amy and Anthony have found a great home at St. Isidore and have enjoyed raising the family in Macomb Township, sharing many memorable adventures with three amazing sons and their Golden retriever, Max and housecat, Aslan.  Amy’s favorite activities include windsurfing, golf, tennis, running, composing sacred music and singing with The Michigan Caroling Company quartet.
