Children’s Liturgy of the Word

St. Isidore’s Sunday school program is called Children’s Liturgy of Word (CLW).  It is done at 9:30 am & 11:30 am Sunday Masses for about 1/2 hour during Gospel time.
The children arrive with their parents to Mass and after opening prayer they are called up to the altar.  The priest then dismisses them to another room, with two adult Catechists, to learn about the Gospel in a way that is suited for children.  After Gospel time, the children return to Mass with their parents for Eucharist Prep to the end of mass.
Children’s Liturgy of Word is for children age 4 to the 4th grade and the child must be potty trained. We do CLW from September to June with a break from the last Weekend of  June , through July and August, and including Labor Day Weekend.
CLW will resume the Sunday after Labor Day.
Also, CLW will not occur on weekends of National Holidays, Christmastime, Easter Sunday, etc.
