Fr. Noel Cornelio
Fr. Noel (born December 25, 1971) is our associate pastor; born and raised in the Philippines; the seventh among eight children. He studied at the University of San Carlos in the Philippines and eventually completed his Theology with the PIME Missionaries in Italy. After his ordination in 2003, he served for years in the missions among the Indigenous community in Mexico. In 2005 he teamed up with the Hispanic Ministry in the Southwest Vicariate of the Archdiocese of Detroit and a few years later he served as bilingual priest and as an associate at St. Damien of Molokai Parish in Pontiac. It’s a blessing in disguise that St. Isidore has been a patron saint of his family for many generations and he finds joy to have been assigned as parochial vicar here at St. Isidore. In his heart rests always the passion in serving the Church. Fr. Noel defines his vocation of serving God’s people as a cheerful giver in a joyful service of the Gospel.
