The Desert Angel

Saturday, August 26

Our men and women serving in the Armed Forces overseas are provided with the basic necessities, but lack many of the things we take for granted here at home. The “Desert Angel” group tries to help with the things that our service men and women need to make life in the desert and elsewhere more bearable and easier.
We are asking that we, as a parish family, respond to the needs of our troops overseas by donating, and then packing the boxes to be sent to our people overseas. If you have a loved one serving overseas, you are more than welcome to pack a box to be sent specifically to your loved one along with other volunteers. There is a list printed below.
We will start collecting the weekend of July 29 – 30.
Packing of the boxes will be on Saturday, August 26, beginning at 9:00 am.
