We always seem to find room in our lives for things we consider to be important but then say we’re too busy for other things for which we don’t want to make room. It’s convenient, isn’t it?

Let's change that.

3 Nights that will
transform your Advent

This Advent join us in taking a look at how we can make room for Jesus in the midst of all of our busyness.

Modern Worship

Friday, November 30 // 7PM

Michael Heiden
Senior Associate Pastor, Immanuel Lutheran Church

The series begins as Pastor Michael Heiden (from Immanuel Lutheran Church) opens up how we need to make room just as the holy family had to make room in their lives for Jesus to enter when they certainly were not expecting him. How can we make room in our busy lives for Christ to enter? What is it that is getting in the way? This message will be accompanied by a high-energy modern worship experience with music from today’s artists led by our praise band.

Stick around after for a variety of sliders and mini-sandwiches!

Reflective Prayer

Friday, December 7 // 7PM

Rev. Mario Amore
Associate Pastor, St. Hugo of the Hills

Our teen music ensemble will present a meditative and reflective worship experience. Fr. Mario Amore (Associate Pastor at St. Hugo of the Hills) will lead our second night what we can do with the room that we create. Pope Francis teaches us that we have a call to holiness. How can we be attentive to this call in our everyday lives?

Join us after for a Make-Your-Own Charcuterie board reception. We will haver a variety of meats, cheezes, fruit, and spreads for you to sample!

This Is Our King

Friday, December 14 // 7PM

St. Isidore Choir

We end with a special musical presentation, The King Is Here, featuring our own choir and orchestra. Deeply moving songs and inspiring narration create a beautiful atmosphere of worship as we celebrate the advent of the newborn King, our Lord and Savior.

Stay after and decorate Christmas cookies to take with you!
This is a great event for the whole family!

What does it cost?

We present the Advent Series free of charge but are asking you to bring new cold-weather clothing items (hats, scarves, gloves, sweaters) to give to the Pope Francis Center as an offering. Let’s surround the altar with your generosity for those who are homeless and in need warmth.
