St. Isidore, along with the staff from the American Red Cross, hosted another successful blood drive on Sunday, October 26. We had a full drive booked with 55 appointments made.
Thanks to the donors, staff, and the team here at St. Isidore, 37 blood products were collected. Six Power Red donors produced 12 units, while twenty-five more donors produced 25 units of whole blood. Each unit has the potential to save 3 lives, which means up to 111 lives will be saved or helped, thanks to everyone’s efforts and commitments. Additional donors attempted to donate, but were deferred. Even taking the initiative to attempt to donate shows dedication to supporting others, just how we Christians are called into action. Thanks to everyone for combined efforts on a successful blood drive!
