Gratitude: Touchstone of Greatness
It may sound like an exaggeration but, I would say that my three years at St. Isidore has been a “taste of heaven” a benchmark of my ministry. When you’re loved unconditionally, you will always be forever grateful. Gratitude is the signature of that experience. In some ways it’s easy to be thankful simply for the ‘good’ things … yet, a life of rich fulfillment comes correspondingly to those who are thankful for the setbacks; and, my gratitude is part of that, as well.
My joy in my ministry cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed without that profound experience of your accompaniment with love, grace and gratitude. You, at St. Isidore: from parishioners to the welcoming staff family, the enthusiastic hearts of our Leadership Team, to our much-loved deacons and to the exceptional pastoral heart of
Fr. Ron, will remain incessantly in my heart; and that I will always be forever grateful for molding me to be a better person and compassionate God’s servant!
