Get one chance to win up to $1000 in the Blizzard Booth.
PLEASE NOTE: Winner, or the winner’s designated participant, must be available at the end of the Festival to participate in this event and must be at least 18 years of age. Also consider the stressful environment associated with participation in this event. Contestant must be in good physical condition to participate. Persons with back, neck, knee or joint injury, respiratory problems or who may be pregnant should not participate. If you are currently under medical care, please consult your physician before participating in this event.
Still interested, here’s how it works:
- If your ticket is picked, you will be called and asked to return to the Festival by 7 pm on Sunday. If you can’t make it, you may designate a participant that is available to come to the Festival by 7 pm.
- At the end of the Theme Raffle Drawings, the participant will put on goggles and step into the Blizzard Booth
- $1000 in assorted bill denominations will be added to the Booth
- A large fan will circulate the money within the Booth
- The participant will have a set amount of time to grab and hold as much cash as they can using only their hands
- At the end of the time, the participant will keep whatever money is in their hands. Winner is guaranteed a minimum of $250.
Rules & Regulations
1. Participant must be at least 18 years of age.
2.The time limit will be set for 20 seconds to allow contestants to grab as much money from the air as possible before time expires.
3. Participants must wear goggles
4. Participant must stand upright and cannot bend at the waist or knees to pick up cash from the floor. Participants may use their feet to “kick up” cash that may accumulate in the bottom corners to blow up toward them.
5. Cash must be grabbed from the air and held using only your hands. No using your clothes, no pinning money under your arms or putting in your mouth etc. Hands only. If you break the rules, the event will be stopped you will drop all money, and the clock will be restarted with less time. If the rules are broken a second time, the event is done, and the participant will win only the minimum amount ($250)
6. Participants may not grab cash falling from the ceiling when time expires.
7. Contestant will be directed to exit the Blizzard Booth after time expires, then remove goggles.
If the winner (or a designated participant) cannot be reached or cannot be present at the end of the Festival, the winner will be awarded the minimum $250 and a second chance participant will be selected at the end of the Theme Raffle drawings. The second chance winner must be present when their ticket is picked. We will continue picking tickets until a winner is present. The second chance winner will get one try at the prize, but without a minimum payout. The second chance winner will only get the money that they grab and hold during their turn in the Blizzard Booth, in accordance with event rules.”
