Allowing the Holy Spirit to bring us together
Monday in the Fourth Week of Easter
In today’s reading from Acts, The Holy Spirit descends on the gentiles in the Acts of the Apostles. Peter is criticized for entering the home of a Gentile, but Peter tells them that God told him it was ok in a vision.
The time has come to be united as one community in this time compared to the Old Testament. It was difficult and controversial for them to do, but they did it because it was the right thing to do.
Fr. Ron concludes by challenging us to think about what we are holding on to that is preventing us from uniting with those who are different from us. We need to allow the Holy Spirit to enter our lives to help bring us together.
