An important reason why we go to Mass

Thursday of the 4th Week in Ordinary Time

In today’s homily, Fr. Ron shares a conversation he had recently about how watching Mass on TV is just not like being there. The couple shared with Fr. Ron how they don’t just miss receiving Holy Communion but also miss worshipping with others who share their vision and faith to praise God.

In today’s Responsorial Psalm, the refrain is: “O God, we ponder your mercy, within the temple.”

We will eventually all be back to Mass and when we get there, we must remember that when we go to Mass we are not just there for ourselves, but rather to support other people.
