St. Theresa of Avila was one of the first two women to be named doctors of the church. She had a heart that was formed from the Holy Spirit. Fr. Ron encourages us to read her writings.

Today’s gospel is St. John’s image of the Church with Jesus being the vine and us as the branches. When you look at branches, you can’t tell where one begins and the other ends. It’s all about working together that bears fruit.

So, how we can be more apart of the community to work together to be more like the branches and more like Saint Teresa of Avila.
