How Dr. King’s Dream is like Jesus’ Dream

Monday of the 2nd Week in Ordinary Time

Today, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Fr. Ron reflects on how we honor Dr. King as we come out of a year where we realize that we are far from achieving his dream of his future.

Martin Luther King Junior’s dream should be our dream too because it was Jesus’ dream.
Jesus dreamed of a future kingdom of justice and peace.

He called us to create that kingdom and we need to be bold and creative in creating a better future as we hear in today’s Gospel. Let’s find ways to be more bold and creative in establishing justice and peace in our world today.
