How God is with you during the difficult times

Thursday in the Second Week of Easter

“The Lord hears the cry of the poor.” This is the refrain from Psalm 34 that we proclaim today. One of the lines in the verses talks about God being close to the brokenhearted.

Fr. Ron reflects on how we should be grateful to God for his presence in the difficult time in our lives. God doesn’t promise that our hearts won’t be broken, but rather that he will be there when it is broken. Fr. Ron reflects on times when his heart was broken and how the Lord was there for him.
