How much do you love your children?

Thursday of the Second Week of Lent

How many parents have given something to bad to their children when they’ve asked for something good? This it the comparison we hear from today’s gospel: “Which one of you would hand his son a stone
when he asked for a loaf of bread?”

We think that God loves us the same way our parents love us.God loves us the same way we love our children. We are quick to forgive them and protect them. The way we love our children is the way that God loves us. Focus on God’s goodness to you when you pray today.
