How to be mentors to our young people

Friday of the 29th Week in Ordinary Time

I, a prisoner for the Lord,
urge you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received,
with all humility and gentleness, with patience,
bearing with one another through love,
striving to preserve the unity of the spirit
through the bond of peace;

Eph 4:1-3

The first reading from today is also the reading we used at Confirmation Masses the last two week. Where do our children see examples bearing with one another out of love and living a humble and gentle lives?

We need to be the mentors to our young people. We have to be what we want them to become; to live in a manner worthy of the calling we have received.

READINGS:
Eph 4:1-6;
Ps 24:1-2, 3-4ab, 5-6;
Lk 12:54-59
