Inclusion in Community

Day 15

All of the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.

Acts 4:32

How can we make everyone feel welcome in our community?
Do we have built-in secular exclusions? (Race, age, political leanings)
One of the best ways to help everyone feel included is through a personal invite to a ministry. We always need more volunteers, but sometimes when new people join a committee or group, they feel excluded. Have you ever presented a new idea that was met with resistance? Remember, New Ideas help change culture and force people to be more open-minded.

Debbie reflects on how Christ’s love brings us all together and how the “little things” like an introduction or an invite make our Church feel like an inclusive community.
