Playing a significant role in the Kingdom of God
Tuesday of the 30th Week in Ordinary Time
We often don’t see ourselves playing a significant role in building God’s Kingdom, but each of us has tremendous power to transform the world around us as we hear in today’s gospel. Jesus tells two parables, comparing the kingdom of God to a mustard seed and to yeast in bread.
They are both hidden and unseen, but they continue to grow and transform. The Word of God does the same thing within us, but we need to be patient. Each of us has the power to bring about the Kingdom of God.
