Taking care of the best gift

Wednesday in the Third Week of Easter

In today’s gospel, Jesus says

“Everything that the Father gives me will come to me,
and I will not reject anyone who comes to me.”

Each one of us is seen by Jesus as a gift given to him. Fr. Ron shares how at funerals, he tells the family that the person who died is a gift given to them that is treasured and cared for as well as each of us is a gift to each other. We should take care of these gifts and care for them.
