The two things that we should be passing on

Wednesday of the Seventh Week of Easter

In today’s homily, Fr. Ron speaks of the things that parents have a responsibility for giving their children: a foundation and wings. The foundation in which to ground their life but the freedom to live their life in spite of the many challenges. 

In today’s readings, we heard about how the people were given these two things to go out and encounter the world. This is our responsibility to pass on to future generations. This is more difficult than ever before in today’s climate, but we need to work hard to give them the foundation and freedom to be guided by the Holy Spirit.
