This is how to face difficult times

Tuesday in the Fifth Week of Easter

Fr. Ron reflects his experiences going to visit someone undergoing a difficult time in their life such as being critically ill. While he goes often to console them, they are often at so much peace that they console him.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.”

Jesus is preparing his disciples to face a difficult time in their lives. The peace he gives them comes from fully embracing Jesus’ love. If we can fully embrace that in our lives, then we too can face the most difficult times.
