This is why there is hope for all of us
Feast of St. Matthew, apostle and evangelist
In today’s gospel, we read Matthew’s own account being called by Jesus. Fr. Ron reflects on how If a tax collector can become an apostle and saint, there is hope for all of us. Matthew admits his own sinfulness which is why he is able to go forth and share God’s mercy and love with others because of that.
If a tax collector can become an apostle and saint, there is hope for all of us.
