What it takes to sow good faith
Wednesday of the 3rd Week in Ordinary Time
Fr. Ron hears many people share with him that their children and grandchildren have walked away from their faith and wonder where they went wrong.
Jesus and his disciples had the same frustration. People even walked away from Jesus.
Sower who sows seed that falls on four different soils. Three out of the four it doesn’t take root, but on the good soil it produces much fruit. This is Jesus saying, don’t get frustrated.
Fr. Ron continues by reflecting in the ways of our culture that might inhibit people from growing in their faith. However, when it does work, it makes all of the failures more than worth it. We need to work hard and persevere to nurture the faith in others.
