Where to turn in times of suffering

Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows

In today’s homily, Fr. Ron reflects on today’s gospel as one of the seven sorrows of Mary.
The sorrows represent how Mary’s heart was full of compassion for Jesus who was suffering. Likewise, she is full of compassion for us during our times of trial, and we should turn to her in difficult times. She understands our sorrows and sufferings.

We should also be like Mary and have compassion for those around us who are suffering.
