Why you shouldn’t be thinking of Easter yet
Tuesday of Holy Week
Are you ready for Easter? Fr. Ron begins today by asking questions about being ready for Easter. It’s a common question to ask this week, but today’s scriptures tell us to stop and wait.
Fr. Ron reminds us that before we can celebrate the light of Easter, we have to walk through the darkness of betrayel and crucifixion of Jesus. In today’s Gospel we see the darkness of night that overcomes Peter and Jesus.
We need to first walk through the darkness before we celebrate Easter. There is so much evil around us, but there is also evil inside each of us. We need to embrace that darkness so we can overcome it and move towards the Easter light.
