We are looking for someone to work with our young people, and their volunteer catechists, implementing formation programming for Grades 7-9 of our Discipleship Formation Program. This is a part-time, 19 hour per week position, with some flexibility in scheduling. Evenings and some occasional weekends should be expected.
If you accept this position, you will be asked to lead recruitment and oversight of volunteer facilitators (catechists) for formation gatherings, occasionally facilitating sessions as needed. You would also plan lessons, oversee and facilitate sacrament preparation, most especially the Sacrament of Confirmation, as well.
Applicants should be Catholic, and engaged in their faith community. A background in education, catechetics, or youth ministry is encouraged, but not mandatory.
