In October, 2020 St. Isidore celebrated four Confirmation Masses completing the Sacraments of Initiation for 111 Candidates. Two of those Masses were celebrated by Bishop Bob Fisher, one by Fr. Ron Victor and one by Fr. Matt Ellis with Deacons Tom Carter and Jeff Loeb assisting. (NOTE: Typically Confirmations are celebrated by Bishops. Due to the number of Confirmation Masses taking place the second half of 2020, Archbishop Vigneron has delegated faculties to the priests to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation.)
What a blessing to have these 111 teens fully initiated into the Body of Christ. May the Holy Spirit be strong in them as they continue their faith journey and may they always know of God’s presence in their lives.
