Prepare the Way of the Lord: An Invitation to Advent Reconciliation
During this holy season of Advent, the Church invites us to pause, reflect, and open our hearts to the transforming grace of God. Advent is a time of hopeful waiting—a season in which we ready ourselves not only for the celebration of Christ’s birth, but also for His continual coming into our lives.
One of the most beautiful ways to prepare ourselves is through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, where we encounter God’s mercy, healing, and peace.
Parishes of our area North Macomb Vicariate will be holding Advent Reconciliation Services, offering opportunities to experience God’s forgiveness in a communal setting, with individual confessions available afterward. All are encouraged to come, whether you have been away from the sacrament for a long time or receive it regularly. Christ calls each of us to renewal, and Advent is the perfect moment to respond.
We look forward to praying with you and sharing in the joy of God’s boundless mercy.
