Serve at the altar! Fall Altar Server Essential Training options:
Wednesday, September 30 6:30-7:30pm
Saturday, October 3 from 1-2pm
During the training session, you will:
- Learn the roles and responsibilities of an altar server
- Become familiar with the sacred vessels and items used at Mass
- Practice the movements and responses that help the liturgy flow smoothly
- Meet other servers and have some fun along the way!
Altar servers play an important role in the celebration of the Eucharist, and many servers find that this ministry helps them grow in faith, confidence and leadership.
If you or your child have been thinking about becoming an altar server, this is the perfect opportunity to get started! (Community service points are available.)
