As a new school year begins, we invite all students and teachers to bring the excitement, challenges, hopes, and opportunities of the year ahead to the Lord.
At the conclusion of all Masses on the weekend of August 29 and 30, our priest will offer a special Back to School Blessing over our students and teachers. Through this blessing, we ask God to fill our students with a desire to learn, perseverance in their studies, and joy in discovering new things. We also pray for our teachers, asking God to bless them with wisdom, patience, and a spirit of gentle encouragement as they share their knowledge and guide their students.
Whether you are beginning preschool, elementary school, middle school, high school, college, graduate studies, or a new year of teaching, you are invited to receive this special blessing.
As a parish family, let us surround our students and teachers with our prayers and support as they begin another year of learning, growth, and discovery. May God guide them in all they do and help them follow Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Students and teachers—please join us and receive this special blessing at the end of Mass!
