On Divine Mercy Sunday, we celebrate the boundless mercy of God, who throughout history has forgiven those who have turned away. Jesus preached forgiveness extensively in his ministry, enshrining it in the prayer he taught his disciples. God’s mercy is both a gift of which we are unworthy and a model for us to follow.
We have heard that the early Christians shared all their possessions with each other. Today, we are asked to think of ways we are able to share our gifts; both material and spiritual. Take a few moments and I’m sure you can think of many ways we share our gifts with one another.
