Did you know St. Isidore has an Evangelization Committee? You might not know us by name but you might know us by what we do:
• Renew our Parish Faith through events, such as: the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Enthronement Event, Purgatory (movie) and Pancakes, Eucharistic Miracles, and Fr. Jewel (during Advent, 2024)
• Host tables at Strawberry Festival for people to be prayed over and for sacramentals/religious merchandise
• Religious Used Book Sale
• Christmas book handout
• In cooperation with the Divine Mercy Prayer Group – Plan and host Divine Mercy Sunday
• Lead Divine Mercy Chaplet after daily Mass
• Intercessory Prayer Group
• Lead the parish in traditional Stations of the Cross during Lent
• Make rosaries for Divine Mercy Sunday, Strawberry Festival, and funerals
• Monthly meetings / brainstorm evangelization ideas
• Support Discipleship Formation Events, such as Discover Your Church
Our Mission Statement: By the power of the Holy Spirit, we will endeavor to make God’s love visible and help others grow in their relationship with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We are looking for new members, no experience necessary, who feel the call to bring Jesus to others and bring others to Jesus. If growing in your faith and helping others to do the same sounds like something you’re interested in, feel free to contact Michelle at evangelization@stisidore.church.
