We are thrilled to announce a momentous project that has been more than twenty years in the making:Â “From Foundation to Future: Renewing Our Sacred Space”. This initiative marks a significant chapter in our church’s history as we come together to embrace both our cherished traditions and a vibrant future.
For over two decades, our community has gathered, prayed, and grown within the walls of our beloved sanctuary offering the sacrifice of the Mass on our current altar. Now, as we look ahead, we are poised to enhance the heart of our spiritual home—the altar—where so many of life’s most sacred moments have been celebrated. This renewal is not just about furniture; it’s about strengthening our commitment to faith and each other, ensuring that our sacred space continues to be a beacon of hope and fellowship for generations to come.
Join us as we embark on this sacred journey, honoring our past and building for the future at the unveiling and installation Mass celebrated by Archbishop Vigneron. Together, we will create a space that reflects our collective spirit and dedication, a place where tradition and transformation go hand in hand. Your support and participation are key to bringing this vision to life, as we continue to serve as a cornerstone of spiritual guidance and community connection.
Life-long parishioner, Nancy Campbell was very active in parish life here at St. Isidore devoting herself in service as a member of the Altar Society as well as other ministries in our community. During the renovation of St. Isidore church in the early 2000’s, it was determined that the purchase of new altar furnishings would not be possible until a much later time when all bills for the renovation could be paid. Unfortunately, Nancy was not able to see the completion of the renovation as, sadly, she passed away in July 2018 from a long-term illness. Although Nancy is no longer here with us today, her dedication and love for our church endures. Nancy willed a significant sum of money to St. Isidore for the specific purpose of purchasing new altar furnishings for our parish community. Nancy’s dream has now been fully realized as our new furnishings were installed in the sanctuary on June 15, 2024 at the installation Mass.
