Obituary: CASTLEBERRY, Joan. July 7, 2021. Age 83. Beloved wife to the late Connard. Loving mother of the late Craig, Alisia (the late James) Pacifico, Mark (the late Debra), Judith Cornett, Karen (Thomas) McIntosh, Cynthia and Shannon. Proud grandmother to 14, great-grandmother to 29 with 1 on the way and great-great-grandmother to 3. Survived by 2 brothers and predeceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Joan was also survived by her loving dog Roxie and predeceased by her dog Ziggy. Family, friends and faith were everything to Joan. She was a generous, honest and a compassionate person who made it a point to make every family member feel special. Her faith in God was strong as she was a committed member of St. Isidore Church for 42 years. Joan spent over 20 years working with her best buddy Diane at Kmart and later the Bank. Family members say there is no way to put into words how special she was except that she was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Visitation Sunday from 3-8pm and Monday from 3-8pm with a 7pm Rosary at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr Rd. at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Tuesday from 9:30am until the time of Mass at 10am at St. Isidore Church 18201 23 Mile Rd, Macomb. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
