During this time, we may be worrying about how we can safely enjoy the coming Holidays with our family or shopping for gifts and food, but there are people whose only worry is “will I be warm or have a meal to keep me warm?” These are the homeless, the ones who have no place warm, who are wearing worn and tattered clothing, who really need help.
We have partnered with the Pope Francis Center in Detroit to try to be of some help to the homeless by collecting hats, scarfs, gloves and socks for men, women and children.
December 6 through December 13 we will have containers outside the main doors of the building to accept your contributions of new hats, scarfs, gloves and socks to help the Pope Francis Center in their mission to care for the homeless. Please help us to help those in desperate need.
