Holy Thursday Tenebrae

  • April 1

11:00 PM

The Tenebrae liturgy on Holy Thursday night will be prayed before the Blessed Sacrament and will close our time of Eucharistic Adoration.  Through Scripture readings and prayer, we will meditate on the betrayal, abandonment, and agony of the events surrounding Christ’s Passion.  Tenebrae, which means shadows in Latin, ends in silence in an unfinished way because the story of our redemption  is not complete until Easter Day.  Please join us for this ancient prayer of the church updated for the disciples of today.
