Jesus, in the Eucharist, reminds us that we are never alone-that he is with us. In our brokenness, sorrows, and frustrations, he is with us. He never leaves us. Jesus wants to walk with us in our journeys toward eternal life.
Over the next four weeks, Fish Tales will include real-life stories from Catholics across the Archdiocese of Detroit, as well as from parishes across the country, who have been transformed by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist. We hope the stories of men and women who, in the Eucharist, have found the strength and purpose for their lives inspire you to experience it for yourself.
Visit your parish or find a chapel and sit in the presence of Jesus, opening yourself up to his voice. We hope you come to believe, without a doubt, that Jesus died for you. He rose from the dead, he loves you, and he extends his mercy to you.
