| Discipleship Formation at St Isidore In-Person Classroom Learning |
| September 2026 thru April 2027 |
At St. Isidore, we use a curriculum that places the Bible at the center of every session. Each child has their own Bible and uses it throughout the lesson, along with accompanying materials and a folder that holds important pages and activities for each session.
While the sessions include classroom-style learning, the children are far from passive learners. Every lesson incorporates hands-on and movement-based activities that help students engage with and better understand the material. Through active participation and guided exploration of Scripture, the children learn with the Bible as their foundation and guide.
Class Time Cancellation Policy –
We will decide, independently of any school district, whether
classes will be canceled due to weather, power outage, or any
other safety issue. If class is being canceled, families will be
notified at least two hours before the start of class. It will not be necessary to call the office. Information will also be available on our website.
Family Nights & Event Participation –
Family Nights will be grade specific nights during a regular week of classes. We will request that at least one parent participate with their child that evening. All related information for a Family Night will be comminucated with advance notice. All families are to attend and participate in the Family Nights.
Special Events for the families are provided by the parish on a regular basis and will be advertised and promoted as they become available for the families to participate in.
