Navigating Through Your Grief

Grief is a natural response to loss. The pain of loss can feel overwhelming, but there are healthy ways to cope with your grief and learn to heal. These tips can help:

  1. Acknowledge your pain.
  2. Accept that grief can trigger many different and unexpected emotions.
  3. Understand that your grieving process will be unique to you.
  4. Seek out face-to-face support from people who care about you.
  5. Support yourself emotionally by taking care of yourself physically.
  6. Recognize the difference between grief and depression

Allow us help you along your grief journey. There is life after loss. We are here to help you find acceptance and inner peace.

St. Isidore hosts a Grief Support Program that meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 6:30 pm. The meetings are open to everyone; you do not need to be a parishioner to attend! Here you will find acceptance, support, hope, and encouragement from the caring members who faithfully journey through these difficult times together. The next meeting is April 11.

Please feel free to call the parish office for more details, or email the facilitators: Heather@stisidore.church or Diane at dialbuck123@gmail.com
