A Christmas Prayer
Dear Jesus,
You have come to save! As we celebrate Your holy birth,
help me to magnify the light of Your love in the lives of
everyone I meet, especially the poor and forgotten.
May I be ever ready to walk with neighbors in their
suffering, mindful of both spiritual and material needs, so
as to restore hope for their tomorrows.
May I never fail in thanksgiving for the countless
blessings You’ve bestowed on me, especially the gift
of salvation won for all through Your life, death, and
resurrection.
I ask this in Your name, Emmanuel.
