Suggested Prayer: Memorial Day Prayer
Gracious God, on this Memorial Day, we give thanks for the brave men and women who have served our nation, and we especially remember those who have given their lives for the sake of freedom. May they rest in peace and find eternal joy. We pray for the families and loved ones who mourn their loss, and we ask for your comfort
and strength to guide them through this difficult time. We also pray for our current service members, that you would keep them safe, grant them wisdom, and lead them home safely. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
