Reconciliation: an Opportunity

There are many great reasons to take advantage of the opportunity for Confession.

Confession is a Holy Sacrament of the Catholic Church through which we seek forgiveness for our sins. We name our sins, claim them and ask forgiveness so that we can be spiritually cleansed and begin anew.

Sin separates us from God. Through Confession, we reconcile with God by acknowledging our faults and seeking forgiveness.

Admitting our sins to the priest fosters a sense of accountability for our actions. This accountability can help us grow in determination and moral improvement. Oftentimes, the priest may offer guidance and advice on how to avoid the sin in the future and how to grow in our spirituality.

In addition to our weekly opportunity for confession here at St. Isidore on Saturdays at 3:15pm, here are the Lenten 2024 opportunities offered in our North Macomb community.
