Respect Life Month

Every October the Catholic Church celebrates Respect Life Month.

As Catholics we are called to cherish, defend, and protect those who are most vulnerable from the beginning to the end of their lives.

During the month of October, the church asks us to reflect more deeply on the dignity of every human life. The Catechism of the Catholic Church #2258 states: “Human Life is sacred because from its beginning it involves the creative action of God and it remains forever in a special relationship with the Creator, who is its sole end. God alone is the Lord of Life from its beginning to its end: no one can under any circumstances claim for himself the right directly to destroy an innocent human being.”

We ask you to commit to prayer and fasting during Respect Life Month and to dedicate your prayers to the conversion of hearts to the Gospel of Life. Please pray for an end to abortion, euthanasia, child trafficking, and all life issues.
