Maddie:
- CENTRAL MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY FOOD PANTRY: I have been volunteering at the Mount Pleasant Food Bank often, but have been wanting to get more involved with on-campus organizations as well. The items purchased and donated will be going to help any of my fellow students that are in need. The school does so much to support me, so it feels great giving back.
- KARMA KAT CAFÉ (Larzelere Hall): One of my favorite places in Mount Pleasant is Karma Kat, a cat café that shelters and adopts out cats, but also provides a place for people to go hangout with the entertaining animals (which is a great de-stresser away from college). My friend, Gwen, volunteers for Karma Kat regularly and decided to organize a supplies drive for the café, so I decided to use the money to donate cat treats (which they are always running out of).
