St. Vincent de Paul Update 3/22/20

In the spirit of our founder, Blessed Frédéric Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul, we will continue to help our neighbors in need with rent, utilities, and food.  We are taking every precaution to protect these vulnerable families and our members.

We are still planning on providing 40 families with Boxes of Staples on         March 25th; however, during this unprecedented time more families will need our help than ever before. Since our Sunday masses are temporarily suspended and the Harvest Bulletin will not be published, we will be posting our list of needed pantry items on the St. Isidore Church website.

We understand that going to the grocery store may be difficult, so deliveries from on-line suppliers (Amazon, Sam’s Club, Costco, Walmart, Meijer, etc.) may be sent to the church to help replenish our pantry shelves.  Donations of food can still be put in the bins located in the Gathering Space during church hours.  We rely on the donations of money (checks, cash, and push pay), food, and gift cards (Kroger and Meijer) from our generous parishioners so that we may continue helping those less fortunate.  Thank you for your support!

Our needs are:

  • Bar Soap
  • Dish Soap
  • Toothpaste
  • Deodorant (Gender Neutral if possible)
  • Laundry Soap
  • Canned Vegetables (Green Beans, Corn, Peas)
  • Crackers (Saltine or Club)
  • Chicken Noodle Soup
  • Canned Fruit – Peaches, Fruit Cocktail
  • Chili

God Bless,
St. Isidore St. Vincent de Paul Society
