St. Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent de Paul Update for 1/9/2022

What is the Church if not the assembly of all the saints?” The communion of saints is the Church.  Everything the true Christian has is to be regarded as a good possessed in common with everyone else.  All Christians should be ready and eager to come to the help of the needy … and of their neighbors in want.  A Christian is a steward of the Lord’s goods.

CCC 946 and 952

We wanted to give you an update on our Christmas Adopt-A-Family contributors.  We had nine families that received generous amounts of money and presents which were contributed by Catholic Charities of SE MI, two companies (PTI and F45), and three parishioners.  Our families were very surprised by all of their gifts and we wanted to thank these generous “saints” for giving them a very happy Christmas!
