St. Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent de Paul Update for 4/24/2022

For there are three ways of performing an act of mercy: The merciful word, by forgiving and by comforting; secondly, if you can offer no word, then pray – that too is mercy; and thirdly, deeds of mercy.

St. Maria Faustina Kowalska

Families that we help sometimes need merciful prayer as much as the deeds of giving them food or monetary help. On this Feast of Divine Mercy, please pray for those who need the comfort of Jesus, The Divine Mercy. Please keep our pantry list in mind as you shop in stores or online this week. Our needs are:

  • Dish Soap
  • Toilet Paper
  • Crackers – Saltine
  • Fruit Cocktail
  • Canned Mixed Vegetables
  • Shampoo
  • Tuna and Chicken Helper
  • Rice Sides
  • Canned Green Beans
  • Chunky Soup
  • Cookies
  • Candy
  • $25 Gift Cards – Kroger or Meijer

Those who sincerely say ‘Jesus, I trust in You’ will find comfort in all their anxieties and fears. There is nothing more man needs than Divine Mercy – that love which is benevolent, which is compassionate, which raises man above his weakness to the infinite heights to the holiness of God.

Pope St. John Paul II at Shrine of Divine Mercy in Cracow, Poland on June 7, 1997

The last weekend of every month, pantry donations can be brought forth during weekend Mass at Offertory time and placed in the baskets at the base of the altar.

God Bless,
