St. Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent de Paul update for April 27, 2025

“For there are three ways of performing an act of mercy: The merciful word, by forgiving and by comforting; secondly, if you can offer no word, then pray – that too is mercy; and thirdly, deeds of mercy.” – St. Faustina

Families that we help sometimes need merciful prayer as much as the deeds of giving them food or monetary help. On this Feast of Divine Mercy, please pray for those who need the comfort of Jesus, The Divine Mercy.

If you are able to, please contribute donations with SVDP blue envelopes and our pantry. Our pantry needs this week are:

  • Cash Donations – Blue Envelopes at Church entrances
  • $25 Gift Cards – Walmart, Meijer, Kroger
  • Toothpaste
  • Pump Hand Soap
  • Laundry Soap – 50 loads
  • Shampoo
  • SpaghettiOs
  • Canned – Pasta with Meat
  • Penne Pasta
  • Pasta Roni
  • Canned – Spaghetti Sauce
  • Cookies
  • Rice Sides – Pouches
  • Hamburger Helper

Those who sincerely say ‘Jesus, I trust in You’ will find comfort in all their anxieties and fears. There is nothing more man needs than Divine Mercy – that love which is benevolent, which is compassionate, which raises man above his weakness to the infinite heights to the holiness of God.
— Pope St. John Paul II at Shrine of Divine Mercy in Cracow, Poland on June 7, 1997
