St. Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent de Paul update for February 9, 2025

“Love of self, neighbor and God are not three separate and distinct forms of loving. Learning to love one’s neighbor is, at the same time, learning to love God. The love we hold for ourselves deepens as we allow our neighbor and God more and more to come into our hearts.” – Fr. James Stephen Behrens, O.C.S.O.

It will be Valentine’s Day soon. This week, each day, put a smile on the face of someone by giving them a gentle word of encouragement or a helping hand. A hug might help too. Simple acts of kindness deepen our love for one another. Happy Valentine’s Day!
