St. Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent de Paul update for January 14, 2023

“Charity must never look to the past, but always to the future, because the number of its past works is still very small, and the present and future miseries that it must alleviate are infinite.” – Blessed Frederic Ozanam (Founder of SVdP)

We must foster a relationship of friendship with our neighbors in need so that we may understand their hearts and their needs more fully. Please keep them in your prayers and as you shop in stores or on-line this week.

Our Pantry is in need of:

  • Jelly
  • Cans – Tomato Soup
  • Cans – Chicken Noodle Soup
  • Boxes & Pouches – Pasta Sides
  • Scallop/Au Gratin Potatoes
  • Cans – Sloppy Joe Mix
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Shampoo
  • Cake Mix
  • Cans – Frosting
  • Paper Towel
  • Toilet Paper
  • Cookies
  • $25 Gift Cards – Walmart, Meijer, Kroger

Just a reminder, please take clothing donations to St. Vincent De Paul store and pet food to the Humane Society. We do not have storage available for these items. Thank you.

We are ever so grateful for your cash donations to our SVDP neighbors in need. This helps so many families during their struggling times. For your convenience, SVDP donation envelopes are located near each door as you enter the church by the Simply Give display. You can place your donation envelopes in the donation basket at Mass, or drop off in the church office.

Jesus, come to help your people,
St. Vincent De Paul Society
