Our Easter Distribution is this week! We plan on helping local families with food, health and beauty items, paper products, and goodies for Easter baskets as well as gift cards for meat and produce. Please deliver all donations to SVdP bins in the church before noon on Tuesday, March 24th.
Please keep our pantry list in mind as you shop in stores or on-line this week. The pantry needs are listed below in order of most importance:
- $25 Gift Cards – Meijer, Kroger, Walmart
- Easter Candy
- Laundry Soap – 50+ Loads
- Shampoo
- Toilet Paper
- Dish Soap
- Helpers – Tuna, Hamburger
- Cans – Tomato Soup
- Cans & Jars – Spaghetti Sauce
- Brownies
- Jello
- Cans – Peas
- Cans – Pears
- Packets – Oatmeal
The Meijer Simply Give program is committed to relieving hunger, and has helped local food pantries keep their shelves stocked. SVdP has once again been chosen to receive the donations of the Macomb Meijer store, “Spring Simply Give” campaign running from March 29 through June 27. The Simply Give displays will be out at each Church entrance beginning next Sunday. Please take a card from the display, and take it to Meijer on 24 Mile Road and Hayes, to purchase any number of $10 donations you’d like to make. You only need one card to make one or more donation purchases. Thank you!
